JobWorks and Hardly AI present at Maryland’s Raising the Bar 2025 Conference

At this year’s NAWDP Business Services Academy, JobWorks Inc. was proud to present one of the most practical and energizing sessions of the conference: 3 Free AI Tools to Help Any Workforce Professional — which attracted nearly 200 attendees!

Led by John Casella, Chief Growth Officer at JobWorks Inc., and Allison Braund-Harris, CEO of Hardly, and Roger Harris, CTO of Hardly, the workshop was designed for busy workforce professionals who want to harness the benefits of AI—without needing a tech background.

AI Tools Built for Real-World Needs

Attendees were introduced to three free, easy-to-use generative AI tools that can immediately improve productivity in any American Job Center or workforce development setting. These tools support common day-to-day needs such as:

  • Creating case notes, outreach emails, and other written materials faster

  • Developing resumes and cover letters customized to each participant

  • Designing professional flyers, slide decks, and marketing materials with ease

Whether you’re just starting to explore AI or already curious about how it could help streamline your work, this session made it clear: you don’t have to be a tech expert to take advantage of these tools.

Confidence Over Complexity

The room was full of energy as attendees discovered just how approachable these tools are. The session emphasized accessibility and immediate action—every AI tool demonstrated is either completely free or available at no cost to nonprofits. More importantly, participants saw how they could start using them right away, regardless of their comfort level with technology.

This wasn’t about theory or trends—it was about solving problems workforce professionals face every day, like documentation backlogs, resume updates, and marketing for events. The workshop left people feeling empowered, not overwhelmed.

An Exciting Step Forward

The feedback was clear: this session hit home. Attendees left with tangible skills and real excitement to bring AI into their daily work. Many expressed surprise at how simple and intuitive the tools were—and how much time they could save starting tomorrow.

At JobWorks, we’re committed to helping workforce professionals stay ahead of the curve without losing sight of what matters most: serving people. This workshop was one more way we’re working to turn innovation into impact.
